Each year the nominating committee of Columbian Lodge A.F. & A.M. determines the Brother that is most worthy of the title "Brother of the Year." This Brother is an examplar of what it means to be a Columbian, and could be nominated for a multitude of reasons: service to the Lodge, service to the public, exceptional brotherly acts, etc. The winner of the award is presented a pewter bowl with his name engraved; in addition, his name is etched for all eternity on the Paul Revere Pewter Bowl with the names of the Brothers that came before him. A true honor indeed it is to win this award...
