Gustaf Larsson (December 10,1861 - July 23, 1919) Woodworking Educator. He was the inventor of the Larsson Improved Adjustable Bench. Born in Sweden in 1861, he came to America in 1888, where he became the first principal of the Sloyd Training School for manual training teachers at Boston. Under his direction over 400 woodworking teachers were sent out from the school, and over 100,000 children received instruction from them. He established ten centers in Southern India and six in Mexico. Member of Columbian Lodge, Boston, Mass. and 32° AASR (NJ).
